Each of our community outreach programs allows us to meet the survivors of trafficking, prostitution, and addiction right where they are in Hamilton County, TN, and North Georgia. We rely on trained volunteers and gracious donors to execute our trauma support and other community outreach programs for human trafficking and sexual abuse victims.

Our goal is to bring these women out of the vicious cycles they are in. Below you'll find some information on each of the initiatives that Love's Arm provides. If you'd like to know more about these programs and how you can support them, please email us or call (423) 580-6553.

Street Outreach

Multiple times each month, Love’s Arm volunteers head to the streets.

We engage in and nurture relationships with survivors who work in street prostitution, offering prayer, hygiene supplies, food, water, and clothing as well as transitional resources available through Love’s Arm and local service providers.

Strip Club Outreach

Each month a small group of ladies, some who themselves were redeemed out of the strip clubs, go in to engage in and nurture Jesus-centered relationships with people working in a local club.

Prayer

Love’s Arm believes prayer is the most valuable work of service for the Kingdom of God. Prayer volunteers participate in our volunteer training and are welcomed confidentially into our private Facebook group for prayer updates.

We also meet weekly for a time of meditation and prayer.

Ready Writers Team

For those who are incarcerated, mail is an open door of encouragement. The Ready Writers team reaches out with hope, resources, and God’s love to those we have met on the streets and students from our classes at the local detention facility.

Detention Center

Detention Classes

Partnering volunteer teams go to the Silverdale Detention Facility twice a month to lead Bible studies that spiritually engage and empower incarcerated women.

24/7 Helpline

Our 24/7 Helpline fields calls from survivors in need. Love’s Arm is listed on the POLARIS National Human Trafficking Hotline as the primary service provider for trafficking survivors in Hamilton County, TN. Helpline volunteers answer calls, assess needs, and assist callers with resources through engaging in safe, confidential, caring conversations. If a caller self-identifies in crisis (in need of assistance), we immediately transition her to receive the trauma-informed care she needs.

Helpline volunteers have access to an extensive list of agencies and resources and are lay-trained in proper responses as well as trauma-informed care related to Adverse Childhood Experiences/PTSD and sexual trauma.

Our goal is to connect with the human heart in a way that builds trust and respect, offering hope of new life through a transitional plan.

Rahab's Rest

Rahab’s Rest is an 18-24-month cost-free holistic recovery home for women exiting sex trafficking or addiction-related prostitution. Rahab’s Rest is built on the Magdalene House model of Thistle Farms in Nashville, with educational and employment opportunities available for the sustainability of our residents. During their stay with us, community members receive holistic, trauma-informed care through substance abuse treatment, healthcare (physical, mental, and emotional) as well as educational assistance, job preparation and training, and financial management. Most importantly, they learn to love themselves and others like themselves.
